ARUBA R0Z25A High Speed Cable Sample Report
Time: 2024-11-08Aruba company has model R0Z25A high-speed cable products, can support 100G Ethernet short distance applications, Moduletek Limited Laboratory of the product prototype testing, to facilitate further understanding of the product's performance indicators and the effect of the actual machine use.
1.Product Introduction
Aruba R0Z25A high-speed cable supports 1m link length on 100G copper cable. The official key parameters and the physical appearance of the module are as follows:

2. Module identification
Connect the R0Z25A high-speed cable to the Aruba 8325-48y8c switch, the module can be LINKed normally, and the port indicator lights up; the module information at both ends of the cable can be recognized normally by the switch, such as module type, model, vendor name, serial number, transmission distance, etc.; there is no alarm phenomenon.

3. Module Key Parameter Test
3.1 S-parameter Test
The S-parameters of the module at both ends of the cable are tested using a network analyzer at room temperature, and the test results are as follows;

According to IEEE 802.3 2022 Edition 110.10 Cable Insertion Loss Class Classification Standard, Aruba R0Z25A has a maximum insertion loss value of 10.04dB, which is compliant with the insertion loss class CA-25G-N (Cable assembly no-FEC), and is supported to be used between two PHYs that are operating in no-FEC mode, more information about the cable class descriptions can be found at 25G DAC FEC Class Description.
3.2 Impedance Test
The differential impedance of the modules at both ends of the cable was tested using an oscilloscope at room temperature, and the test data complied with the 100 ohm differential impedance standard, and the test data of one of the channels is listed below;
