H3C S6812-24X6C switch out of the box

        H3C S6813&6812 series switches are H3C's self-developed data center-class Ethernet switches, which support rich data center features and provide the industry's compact switches with flexible and dynamic combinations of 40GE, 100GE and 10GbE ports.
        Moduletek Limited Labs purchased an H3C S6812-24X6C switch, which can test 1G/10G SFP+, 40G/100G QSFP28 product series, and the following takes you through the unboxing and acceptance together.

        H3C logo is printed on the packaging tape, and the product information label is attached on the side. Inside the box, there is one mainframe (without power supply and fan), and the accessories include a package of screws and lugs, grounding cable, and installation instructions.

        The front panel has 24 10G SFP+ ports and 6 100G QSFP28 ports; the rear panel has 2 external power supply slots, 3 external fan slots, 1 RJ45 serial port, 1 RJ45 external management port, 1 Reset button, and a USB-A port for file interaction with the Flash file system on the switch.

        Connect the external power supply module and fan module (optional), power up the device, and start without obvious noise.

        Use the RJ45 to DB9 serial cable to connect to the switch through the serial port; the default baud rate of the device is 9600, the initial account/password: empty, log in to the console, execute the command “display version ” to view the running system version information.

        Use the Motek 100G SR4 module (compatible with H3C QSFP-100G-SR-MM850) to access the QSFP28 port, and the module type can be recognized normally.

        In the interface configuration mode, you can modify the interface rate mode, and the default state is automatic rate mode.
