CISCO has released a QSFP-40G-SR-BD optical module, model number: QSFP-40G-SR-BD, which can be used normally on CISCO C93180YC-EX switches. Today, we would like to introduce you the way to view the information of this model optical module on CISCO C93180YC-EX switch.

1. Link status of CISCO QSFP-40G-SR-BD optical module on CISCO C93180YC-EX switch.
Enter the command “show interface ethernet 1/50” to view the link information of the switch port (port number: 1/50) where the optical module is inserted, mainly including: the link status of the optical module inserted in the port, the working rate and so on.

2. Identification information of CISCO QSFP-40G-SR-BD optical module on CISCO C93180YC-EX switch.
Enter the command “show interface ethernet 1/50 transceiver” to view the identification information on the switch port (port number: 1/50) where the optical module is inserted, mainly including: CISCO model number of the optical module inserted in the port, serial number, transmission distance and so on.

3. DOM information of CISCO QSFP-40G-SR-BD optical module on CISCO C93180YC-EX switch.
Enter the command “show interface ethernet 1/50 transceiver details” to view the DOM information on the switch port (port number: 1/50) where the optical module is plugged in, which mainly includes the DOM information on the module's operating temperature, voltage, bias current, transmit optical power and receive optical power. The DOM information on the switch port (port number: 1/50) where the optical module is plugged in can be viewed, which mainly includes: temperature, voltage, bias current, transmit optical power, receive optical power and real-time DOM value when the module is working. However, this model (QSFP-40G-SR-BD) does not support the DOM function on the CISCO C93180YC-EX switch.
