Introduction to 25G DWDM Optical Modules

      25G has become the mainstream pre-transmission interface rate in the 5G era and is widely used in 5G networks. With the increasing demand for bandwidth, high-capacity DWDM technology continues to sink and move to the edge of the network, from backbone, metro to edge access, DWDM-based high-capacity network, which can better carry the upper layer of the service network.
      25G SFP28 DWDM optical module is mainly used to meet the demand of 25G Ethernet and 5G forward transmission service, which can be used as an effective solution to solve the line bandwidth expansion. Typical features are as follows:

      25G-LR gray light module only 1310nm single wavelength, the use of existing network spare fiber resources can meet the rapid and simple to open the station's requirements; CWDM color light solution can provide 6-wave and above the optical module, to a certain extent, to alleviate the difficulties of the lack of optical fiber; DWDM color light solution is the most obvious advantage, lies in the ability to significantly improve the system capacity. At present, the typical 25G DWDM system supports more than 40 waves, and the single-fiber capacity is 40 times that of gray light and 6.7 times that of CWDM solution, which will significantly reduce the requirements for fiber line resources.
